Biura przedmediacji pełnią rolę punktu kontaktowego dla osób zaangażowanych w transgraniczne, spory rodzinne, w szczególności w przypadkach międzynarodowego uprowadzenia dziecka.

W biurach premediacji można uzyskać informację na temat dostępnych transgranicznych usług mediacji rodzinnej na danym terytorium, z uwzględnieniem specyfiki każdej sprawy, która zostanie jej zgłoszona.

Zespół przeprowadzi wstępną ocenę sprawy w celu sprawdzenia, czy spełnione są warunki niezbędne do podjęcia procesu mediacji, a także skieruje zaangażowane strony do właściwych specjalistów i organów (np. mediatorów oraz, w razie potrzeby, organów centralnych lub sądowych).

The pre-mediation service will act as a contact point for individuals involved in cross-border family disputes, particularly in cases of international child abduction. 

The service will provide information on available cross-border family mediation services within the territory, taking into account the specific characteristics of each case brought to its attention. The service will conduct an initial assessment of the case to verify whether the necessary conditions for undertaking a mediation process are met and will guide the involved parties towards competent professionals and Authorities (e.g., mediators and, if necessary, Central or Judicial Authorities).
